American Thermal Window is a family-owned and family-run business. Established in 1981, American Thermal began as a part-time operation by Iver Johnson Sr., who is a retired police officer of 31 years at the Chicago Police Department. Located at the intersection of Milwaukee and Central Ave. in the heart of the northwest side, American Thermal has served the entire Chicagoland area since its beginnings. The location offers displays of many different types of windows and doors, which include bay windows, bow windows, double hung windows, casements, garden windows, storm doors, replacement doors, etc. We also offer many services, which include full window and door installation and replacement, vinyl siding, gutters, soffits, and fascias as well as glass block windows. Here at American Thermal, we believe in giving each of our customers the personal attention he or she deserves.
